About Us

Based in Long Beach, California, the New Found Life Foundation was established in 2021 by a dedicated group of recovery community individuals.  The purpose of this organization is to educate and provide support to family members of individuals suffering from addictions and to provide scholarships for persons in need of detox and treatment for substance use disorder and comorbid conditions.

Addiction to alcohol or other drugs is an illness that has a profound effect on both the individual and his or her family.  The founders and members of the Board of Directors of the Foundation believe that family involvement is an integral part of helping both individuals affected by the disease, family members and friends.

Mission
Educating and supporting individuals, families, and the members of the community affected by addiction.

Vision
The vision of the Foundation is to provide education about the devastating effects of addiction and the impact it has on those with the disease, their family members, and the community at large.  We also want to provide funding for individuals who have an honest desire to recover and may not otherwise have access to treatment.

Who Will Be Served by the Foundation
Those who may benefit from learning about substance abuse disorders and treatment for the disease include addicts, alcoholics, family members, professionals, clinicians, counselors, and educators.
